    Names in column need to convert to email format

    Hi Guys

    I've a column with FName and Lname and space between the two words.
    I wish to convert to the correct email format of [email protected]

    How can I do this ?
    Any help would be great.

    Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    Assuming your name is in the cell A1, then try this......

    The closest that I could find that matches what you are asking for is this site by Ron de Bruin. There are several options for sending emails from Excel offered on the site.

    Thanks for the feedback. Trying to help is our reason for being here.

    I tried various ways using the HYPERLINK worksheet function and the only way to actually get Excel to use my email client was to hardcode the address into the HYPERLINK function arguments. Everything other than the hard coding produced an error. It seems that VBA is the only way to do what you want.
