Does anyone have a good amortization table?

I need a table that will figure interest on a monthly basis (daily would be fine but it doesn't have to be) for a loan. can anyone help with that?

    Cheers
    Tom

    Hi TomRet,

Please show us a sample of how you have your Workbook/Sheet set-up, how you would the outcome to look like, and maybe we could take it from there.

hmmm...not entirely sure. I have something set up but I am not sure it will work properly. I have looked into some of the amortization tables but frankly they confuse me.

Attached is one that I started but it was more of a revolving credit type thing and I am not sure it would work the way I think it will. What I am looking for is something that has the loan amount, the interest rate (APR) and a payment schedule that breaks down principle vs. interest. Make sense? If not I'll try to mock up something.

    Thanks
    Tom

I found a template on office.microsoft.com that I think will work for me. Thanks to all who took a look at this.
