OFFSET function not working in Excel 2010

    Dear Reader,

Please see attached XLS file. In column D you'll notice that the drop down items show up under a number of blank fields.
I tried to fix this by means of an OFFSET function, which is:

    =OFFSET('Types per manufacturer'!$A$2,0,0,COUNTA('Types per manufacturer'!$A:$A)-1,1)

This didn't work and I am wondering what I should do to fix this.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

    Kind regards,

    Victor

    Dear Suhas,

Thanks very much for your reply. I am not entirely sure what you mean, though think there
is not a difficult amendment to be made.
What should I exactly do with the column name? Could you please explain so that
I can hopefully make a quick fix?

    Thanks again,

    Kind regards,

    Victor

Re: OFFSET function not working in Excel 2010

Thanks, Suhas, appreciated, but this doesn't answer my question.
Of course I'll make a choice in column C, but the problem is that I have to scroll up in column D, every time I need to make a selection there.
By an OFFSET function I hoped to solve this issue, but it didn't fix the problem. Looking forward to further advice on this.
