conditional formatting

    Unhappy conditional formatting

    Hi,
    In row a I have several number and row I I have various locations. I want a conditional formatting that says if row a has multiple locations based on row I then highlight.

    row:
    123 NY
    123 JAPAN
    123 AUSTRALIA
    123 CHINA

    I want these row to be highlighted.

    Please help!!

    Maybe you can do something like:
    =COUNTIF($A:$A,$A1)<>countifs($A:$A,$A1,$I:$I,$I1)
    as your conditional format formula with A1 highlighted?

    When you enter the conditional format rule, you then choose the format to apply, so pick a background colour suitable as a highlight. Apply it to the whole spreadsheet (or the used range of it).
