Hello,
I would like to count the number of orange cells, Green cells, Blue cells in the attached spreadsheet.
I have attached the sample file.. In my original file the cell colors will be a result of some conditional formatting.

As you say that in your original workbook the colors will be the result of CF, then probably you'll count the occasions according those rule. Which are the rules that you use in CF?

I have attached a new which has conditional formatting and also almost similar to my original workbook. In my original workbook, I'll have more colors using similar conditional formatting formula ( for a different range).
I believe that the easiest way is using helper column(S) with the opposite of your formula.
