Calculations on filtered data

Hi,

I have a table of data that has been filtered using one of the columns in the report.

I would like to sum the values in each column that haven't been excluded by the filter and also calculate the weighted average of the same, filtered data using the SUMPRODUCT function.

Can someone please suggest how I do this.

You would need to use the SUBTOTAL() function which has many subfunctions within it. That function is designed to operate on visible row only. Read up in the F1 help files to familiarize yourself with it.

For anything more specific, you would need to attach a sample workbook showing a sample of filtered data and a mockup up the results you would like automated. Click GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to attach your sample workbook.
