    Filtering data range

    Hi,

In the attached file I'd like to filter the data on column O and then sort the results in descending order of the numbers in column N.

Between the headings and the data, in row 2, I've inserted some subtotal-type calculations.

However, when I filter the data on column O the second row disappears.

Can someone please suggest how I adjust the filters so I don't lose row 2.

    Thanks!

    Re: Filtering data range

Enter 9999999 (something larger than anything possible as a data entry) in N2 and colour the font to match the background so the text will seem to disappear. To filter on column O, include BLANKS in the filter so the blank will remain on top.

Now, if you filter on column O first then on column N you should get row 2 to remain. I haven't checked the formulae to see what they are up to but they remain in row 2.
