I recently reloaded my software following a replacement disk.
Since that time my 'Recent Files' list seems to disappear.

I haven't identified the circumstances when it disappears. I can reboot and reload (say) EXCEL and the list is still there but another time the list has gone.
The same appears to be the case in WORD (I don't use as often).

If I am in Excel then the documents appear in the list - but at some stage later I resume Excel (next day) and the list has gone.

I use Office 2003, Windows 7, RegCurePro, F-Secure (used all these before without problem)

I notice there are several similar posts (some quite old) but no obvious answers

Any help / pointers in the right direction would be appreciated
