Excel 2010_Spreadsheet that has heavy macro content hanging after running macros

Caller stated that sheet always opens but when she accesses a secondary sheet (via VB script in a cell) it opens the second spreadsheet and throws a debug message. VB debug is where the spreadsheet fails.
We have already re-installed Office 2010.
I remoted into the caller's machine and set Excel to run all macros and had her try again. The process made it a little further than where she was normally failing but eventually failed with a series of VB errors.
NOTE:
This failure is on the caller's machine only and is relative to this particular spreadsheet .
All other users can open the spreadsheet on their computers without issue, the caller was able to do so until 24 April 2014, but does not recall running any updates or installing any software that would cause the problem.
The author of the spreadsheet sent the user a refeshed version after she started experiencing problems but this did not resolve the problem.

This sounds like a missing reference problem to me.

The VBA code may be missing a function that was installed on a previous version of Excel or installed on an older machine.

Thanks. Will advise the author who is far more kmowledgable about macros and VB then I am. Will update you on the outcome.
