Dynamic link between workbooks: update link when adding value(s)

    Hello everyone,

I have 2 workbooks. One, which is the masterdatafile and the other one where i want to store all of my information. In my data file I have, for example, 1 col and 20 rows with data. These 20 are also stored in my other workbook. But when I add a value to the masterdata I want my informationfile to update automatically.

I dont know if this works with a dynamic named range, I tried, but haven't succeed.

    Can anyone help me?

    Many thanks.

    Regards
    qontrol

    Hi qontrol

As a concept, yes it can be done.

If you will attach a sample of what you have, and how you want the data to appear in the other workbook, I'm sure we can help

    Regards
    Alastair
