    Hyperlink won't open fully from excel

    I concatenated https://abc.xyz.alaala.com/deviceCatalog/show/ in one column with 2000 numbers in another column and created a urls like
    https://abc.xyz.alaala.com/deviceCatalog/show/1089

    when i click the cell with the URL, a browser launches but I land on the homepage instead of landing on device 1089 page

    https://abc.xyz.alaala.com/home/devices

    when I copy the url from Hyperlink edit widget and paste it in a browser it works fine.

    Please help, let me know if you need more information.

    It appears to me that the hyperlinks are not being updated in the cells. It would be easier to find a solution if you could attach a sample of your workbook. Remember to remove/replace sensitive data before uploading.

    are you using the hyperlink() formula? or just concatenating the URL?

    the later would not update the actual clickable URL

    sorry I just realized first concatenated in google spread sheet and copied them to excel. In google sheet they were working as expectedly but in excel it is always landing on homepage.
