All of my information was replaced by #VALUE

Hi,
I had a large spreadsheet filled with names, emails, and phone numbers.

I opened the file today, every cell with data now reveals "#VALUE".

I've tried searching for the file in alternate places to regain the original data to no success, as well as looking online elsewhere for a solution.


I'd appreciate any help.

What is in the cells? Are they formulas? If so, what type of functions do they use? Are they linked to another workbook?

None of the cells contained any formulas nor were they linked elsewhere.

They all contained simple information that I inputted into the cells, such as the names, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers of various contacts

I'd guess your only option would be to go back to an older copy or back-up of the file to recover the data.
