    Using IF to capture overtime.

So, I have been scratching my head for about two hours now.

I'm trying to figure out how to calculate overtime.
Overtime is after 5 pm each weekday and during the weekend.
Can somebody write up a formula for me that does this?

The Lunch column (D1) doesn't matter in this spreadsheet.

Post the workbook directly to the forum:

Re: Using IF to capture overtime.

Hey, thank you, but this won't suffice. As I said I'm trying to find out how to calculate the overtime hours from the total hours(overtime is every weekday after 17:00 and during the weekend(sat, sun)).
And also the regular hours from the total hours(each weekday before 17:00)

Does starting early count for overtime?

Yes starting before 5 counts as overtime, sorry for not including that.
