Combinations

Hi,

It is a question about combinations.

Let say their are different combinations. For example:

Fish, Car, Bike, House, Cat, Shoes

Car, Blue, Red, Orange, Fish, Goat

I not only want the count of the combinations, but also in what order.

In the attachment i made an example and how it should look like.

I made an example with numbers, it's simplefied.

My question is: is there a vba-code to do this fast.

I want the count of the combinations, but also the order. Because the the first table, is the first combination. Their are only ones, 1 to 2 3 4 8 9 had appaered only 1 time. So the first row is only ones etc. In the second combination the 2 to the 4 appaered for the second time. See attachment

Thank you for providing a sample of what you are expecting. Unfortunately, I have no idea how you get your "How it should look like" sheet from your "Combinations"

It might help if I understood the significance of the "e" as in 1e, 2e etc and I cannot explain the 1e etc label being on the vertical and horizontal axes.

I am also not understanding why most are "1"s there are a couple of "2"s (but this is most likely linked to the 2 being in both combinations, somehow)

Other than the above, everything is perfectly clear

I do hope that I am not the only one not clever enough to understand what you are trying to achieve. I am sure that once I understand the rules, writing the VBA will be easy!
