What is this please and how do I remove it?

Hi folks,

I've just joined excel forum because, like most people, I have a problem. (see attached pic)

This recently appeared on one of the worksheets of my Home Finance Workbook but don't know what it is, where it came from and how to get rid of it. Clicking the '-' button hides row 53. That's it!

Sorry if this is a basic issue that's been solved many times here but, not knowing what it is makes it difficult to search for!

It's called grouping, select the rows -> Data -> Ungroup

I've just been having a play around with the 'Grouping' function and I can already see that it would be useful for me. So I'm going to read more about it and maybe even use it in anger. It's just a shame the function uses so much real estate.
