    Help with If formula

    The formula I am looking for is

    If D1= between 1000 and 1999 then E1 = 5 any other number in D1 would result in E1 = 7

    maybe this...
    =IF(and(D1>-1000,D1<2000),5,7)

    I just noticed a small error (a typo actually) in my formula...
    =IF(and(D1>-1000,D1<2000),5,7)
    should be...
    =IF(and(D1>=1000,D1<2000),5,7)
