    Thumbs down Running Total Madness

I am trying to create a basic ledger so a community group I work with. However, I keep hitting a brick wall with this running total stuff!

Can anyone advise on an easier way - surely there must be an easier way where it doesnt show the last total all down the balance collumn

    Thanks in Advance

    Try, in E3:
    =IF(D3<>"",E2+D3,"")
    and copy down.
