    Sum of 2 indexes

    Hi,

Is it possible to have a formula that will do the below

    JOE, 15, No Pay
    DAVE, 20, No Pay
    JOE, 16, Full Pay
    JOE, 18, Full Pay
    DAVE, 21, Time Made Up
    JOE, 17, TIME MADE UP

Dave's total mins for No Pay
Dave's total mins for Full Pay
Dave's total mins for Time Made Up

Joe's total mins for No Pay
Joe's total mins for Full Pay
Joe's total mins for Time Made Up

    I thought a Sumproduct may help =SUMPRODUCT(A:A="JOE")*(C:C="No Pay")*(B:B)

Thanks for the help in advance

    Hi

Looks that 2 missed 2 parenthesis.

    This gives 15 as result.

Don't use whole columns reference in your formulas-special if these are ARRAYS formulas. Your aplication becomes slow.

Witha an pivot table you can also select the MIN value.

    Re: Sum of 2 indexes

Sorry for the lack of feedback, this one worked for me =SUMPRODUCT((A1:A10="JOE")*(C1:C10="No Pay")*(B1:B10)) with reduced rows instead of full columns

Thanks for the help really appreciate it
