    Worksheet display

    Hi all,

I was hoping to find some assistance regarding a "formatting" issue I am currently facing.

Basically, I work using two wide screen monitors in the office, however others may work off a single "standard" monitor.

I have created and formatted my Excel worksheet to exactly how I would like it to be displayed. It looks great on my screen, however when others with smaller monitors or laptops open it, the display is then dirupted and the format is not suitable.

My question is, is there a way to format the worksheet that regardless of what you use to open it (phones excluded) it will "autofit" to keep the same format that shows on my monitors. Something like select range of cells to sit central on the screen so no matter how wide or small the monitor is, the file will autofit?

    Many thanks in advance.

You can do it with something like:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
though it's usually easier to design for the lowest spec you have to support.

    Hi romperstomper.

Thank you for your response. I take it this is just another Alt F11 and insert into "this workbook"?

When you day design for the lowest spec, what exactly do you mean?

I mean design for whatever is the lowest monitor resolution your users will have.

You'd need to put that code into an event - either Workbook_Open or Worksheet_Activate depending on your circumstances.
