Sort a column of entries into a number of columns, based on the last character in the entr

Hopefully someone here has a simple solution for this.

I need to sort a column of entries into a number of columns, based on the last character in the entry. I have attached images showing the column of data I have, and how I wish the data to be transformed.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately I am not sure that this solution achieves what I am trying to do. I have attached the sheet I am working on - sample data is highlighted in Orange on Sheet 1, and the desired layout is illustrated on Sheet 2.

    Many thanks

I don't understand your example with Q. It doesn't make sense to me. Here is my solution with Q in its own column.

Thank you very much for taking the time to look at the problem for me.

I believe I failed to state the issue clearly.

I need to transform the column of entries on Sheet1 so that:-

    i) Each ROW needs to contain the entries ONLY for one unique 10 digit sequence xxxxx-xxxxx
ii) Moving across the columns for that row we need to see the entries ONLY for that 10 digit sequence, together with the letter suffixes (xxxxx-xxxxxa, xxxxx-xxxxxb etc.)
iii) The 10 digit sequences have differing quantities of entries - some only have xxxxx-xxxxxa and xxxxx-xxxxxb, some only have xxxxx-xxxxxq, and some have entries for a - d
iv) Looking at Sheet2 in the attached example, this is how I need the data to appear - so that I can easily see where there are missing file references

I hope that this is a little more specific - but already many thanks to those who have responded
