Conditional Format

Hi i was wondering if this can be done with a conditional format.

    I have a call sheet

When a call started and ended, i was wondering if a format can be done so it highlights the cells between the call started and call ended times?

In column B is how i would like it, in column D is how is it.

    If you can help... Cheers!

    Re: Conditional Format

In order to have a conditional format you need a logical test to evaluate to TRUE. Although one can test for blank cells (using ISBLANK()), the problem comes in that you also have blank cells where no calls have occurred. So the logic test will not work in this case. I think the easiest way is to create a third condition testing for a string like: "Call in Progress" and shade that in yellow similar to Call Started.

    Re: Conditional Format

Martin, what is teh logic behind that? If I enter "Call Started" in B6, it changes color, but B10 does not. If I enter "Call Ended" in B11, it changes green, but B10 stays white?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
