I am trying to create a validation check between 2 working files to avoid duplicate. I have create several name range to be able to use in the main file.It's working but only when both files are open. Is there a way to have this validation check with one files close?
=AND(COUNTIF(JETEXVALIDATION,A8)=0,COUNTIF(AIRTOTALVALIDATION,A8)=0,COUNTIF(JTEX2VALIDATION,A8)=1)
I dont know how much data you are using, but would it be possible to import in the data from the other file then use that as a data validation point instead of the other file itself?
