Over 1 million rows have appeared in my spreadsheet!

I am using a spreadsheet with 4 sheets, but 2 of the sheets have suddenly appeared with over 1 million rows, which is stopping me from inserting new lines in the middle of my data. I am only using around 200 rows on each of these 2 pages.

So, how can I delete these extra rows quickly, without having to select each row and right click and select delete?

I'm not very savvy with excel so please reply in very simple language!

excel 2007 comes with just over a million rows anyway, what do you mean they suddenly appeared, nd whats wround with leaving them there?

Are you saying that these two worksheets have over 1 million rows of data in them?

If there isn't data in these rows other than the 200 rows that you have filled with your data, you should be able to insert rows between your rows of data if required.

Your description needs clarification as it isn't exactly clear as to what the problem is.

Post your workbook if you can with an explanation of what you can't do and where you can't do it.

I've solved it!

I had inserted a new column then shaded it, so the shading went down all 1 million rows!

I deleted the columns and the extra rows disappeared again!
