Everything above formula bar is gone

Hello all,

The top bar in my excel sheets have totally disappeared. There are no: home, insert, page layout, forumlas, ...etc, tabs. There is no 'ribbon' and no option to minimize ribbon because everything that is normally above the text box (where data is entered for the selected cell) is gone. There is no top to the excel window - where the name of the file usually is. There is no home button, disk (for save), or undo/redo arrows. The window just ends at the top of the text box. Please help! See attached image below:

Hi,

It looks as though you have selected 'View Full Screen'

Have you tried the {Esc} key?

Or (just for your information) right-click anywhere in the worksheet, and then click Close Full Screen.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Looks like you have hidden the Quick Access Toolbar in Excel.

To enable it, near the office button, there is a drop-down button to customize the Quick Access Toolbar. Click it and uncheck the Minimize the Ribbon option.
Refer screenshot enclosed.

I appreciated the replies but it is none of these issues. It is not in full screen mode. The window is smaller than the screen but looks as if the top has been 'cut off'. There is no area to right-click to uncheck the 'minimize ribbon'. I use the minimize ribbon often but this is not relevant in this case because it is not just the ribbon that is gone but everything above it as well.

do you perhaps have the entire window on "restore down"? Click the button between the - and the X
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Hi,

...or have you perhaps changed your screen resolution?
