PLEASE HELP to fix a Worksheet in a .xlsm workbook

I must have done something wrong in a worksheet after which this worksheet expanded to 10K rows and 10K columns and made the entire workbook too heavy. Previously I used to fix the same problem by simply copying data from the damaged worsheets to a new worksheet and deleting the damaged one, but in this case I do not want to follow this way because it feeds data to multiple other worksheets and pivot table in a file. Does anyone know a smart and safe way to fix such a problem?

You've probably got a spurious character tucked away somewhere out of sight. To fix it:

Go to the last used row in the worksheet and select the row below that by clicking on the row number to highlight the whole row.
Hold Ctrl + Shift and press the down arrow to select from that row down to the very last one.
Right click any of these rows and select delete.

Go to the last used column in the worksheet and select the column after that by clicking the header letter to highlight the whole column.
Hold Ctrl + Shift and press the right arrow key to select from that column to the very last one.
Right click any of these columns and select delete.

Now select cell A1 and save the workbook.

    Does that do the trick?
