I havent used excel in a while and never used charts or graphics.

I have three related observation columns. The first is the date with the hour. The other two are observed numbers at those times on the given day.

I need to make a chart of the two data columns against the date in a from to to format. ie from 1/1/2013 1:00 to 2/1/2013 3;00

I need to find a max for on of the date columns using the same from to to format. ie what was the max for these 2 months

Then for certain day and time I need to find the average of one of the columns. So if 2/20/2013 is a monday at 1;00 and the corresponding data was 400 i need to fin all mondays at 1:00 in the list and average the numbers withing -+5 of the third column of data

Finally in need a scatter plot for the two data based on finding days that are mondays at 13;00

Show a before and after situation with manually calculated results, explaining which information is data and which is results, and if it's not blindingly obvious how you have arrived at your results some explanatory notes as well.
