I'm working on a project and I'm at a loss for how to proceed. I have a Word template using control contents and an Excel spreadsheet that contains a list of red light photo enforcement violations. I am trying to link Excel to Word so that the user can select the Violation Number and it will automatically populate the control content cells. My idea is to somehow make the Violation Number a drop down box, but because there's new data added daily, the choices in the drop down box would need to be updated daily. I'd appreciate any ideas you may be able offer.
