I have a spreadsheet (excel 2010) with about 50 rows of people. Each of these 50 people use there own word 2010 document filled with multiple tables to keep there workload updated. I tried to paste link two of the cells in the word doc into two columns in the main excel spreadsheet but I get n/a errors when I close and reopen the spreadsheet. Initially the paste link works and I can type in word and see the changes being made in excel but once I close the docs and reopen and excel asks if I want to update the doc it doesn't update correct and I get an error. Any ideas why?
