    Concatenate Vs &

    Hi

What are the advantages of using Concatenate compared to "&", I have only just realised Concatenate can do a similar thing to "&" which I have always used in the past.

    Regards

    Re: Concatenate Vs &

As far as I know, there is no difference. I cant remember the last time I used CONCATENATE(), I always use &...less to type and makes reading formulas that use it, easier

As far as I know, you can save the space (Length) of the formula by using &

    Re: Concatenate Vs &

if you really want to concatenate can be done completely by mouse clicks

but like fdibbins use & most of the time as it is easier to use ...for shorter combinations
if i go over 7 i would go to the effort of using concatenate
