    Formatting Number/cell 2,359 (-9.85%) (where -9.85% is red)

    Concantenating 2 cells =C6 & " (" & C189 & ")" C6= 2,359 C189 = -9.85%

    =TEXT(C8,"#,##0") & " (" & TEXT(C191,"0.00%") & ")"

    This works fine to give me 2,359 (-9.85%) but I WANT THE -9.85% to be RED.

    I tried =TEXT(C6,"#,##0") &" (" & TEXT(C189,[red][>0];[black][<=0]"0.00%") & ")" but was unsuccessful

    Any ideas???

    You can't, without using VBA.

    Please don't edit your posts and change your question and thread title after people have responded to the original one -- it makes it very confusing for people that read the thread later.
