Excel formatting

I am using Oracle Discoverer Desktop 10.1.2 to generate a report which then exports to Excel (Pro Plus 2010)

When users download the spreadsheet they lose most of the formatting leaving just a couple of columns with coloured background and bolding - but it's always the same columns and formatting for the users affected.

This happens for some users, but not all.

Can anyone advise why we're seeing this strange behaviour?

It some time depends on contents of data, is data generated is under same criterion for both the users?

Yes, the criteria is the same for all users. We've tested the scenario using the same criteria - and received the differing results!
