Splitting notes

Hi there,

Please see the attached file. I would like to have in B1 all Daniel White's comments after 01/01/2012 (in this case: "NOTES BY: Daniel White on 6/12/2012 at 12:36:30 PMRoger called in saying they got 3 left and 1 right tire - Rio is contacting them now"). If this could help, at the beginning of all comments there is a common text "NOTES BY:".

Your help is highly appreciated.

The number must be greater than number of character in the string.

I have comments with much more characters. I suppose I could use any greater number I'd like?

That calculation is for estimating how many spaces to replace "NOTES BY:" with so that the text can be easily separated.

The maximum characters that can be displayed in the cell is 1024

32,767 characters. Only 1,024 display in a cell; all 32,767 display in the formula bar.
