    Change Language of Pivot Table?

    Hello everyone,

I created a Pivot Table, but the dates which the table extract from my data source is displayed in Dutch instead of English. All my language settings of office are in English though. Why is this happening and how can I change this?

See the attached picture for my excel settings.

    Regards,

    Ricky

The long date text format of months is determined by your OS regional settings.

    Hi Ricky,

Try to change both defaults in the lower two dialog boxes to "Match Windows Default". See if that changes things.

Unfortunately, it seems like I have to change my regional settings on my computer. When i tried to select Match Windows Default, then the dates are displayed in Dutch. I wish there was a way around it and I could leave my computer settings to be in Dutch and all my Excel settings in English.

It's more than annoying. I develop for business units all over Europe, and have ended up having two separate PCs on my desktop - one stays set to English, the other I am constantly changing the regional / language settings, so that I can fully test workbooks for all the locales in which they will be deployed.

If there was a way to separate Excel language defaults from OS language defaults (especially on a per workbook basis), I'd be first in the queue!
