Indirect-index-match formula is returning #Value

    Hello,

I have an Indirect-Index-Match formula that is returning a #VALUE.

Attached is the file with the formula that is producing the error.

    ...

Because my dataset has duplicate values, I am trying to use an indirect-index-match formula that will return values only for a specified array.

Your help would be much appreciated!

I have not looked to see what you are trying to do, but you left the INDIRECT() off the 1st part...
    =INDEX(INDIRECT("B"&J5&":B"&J7), MATCH(C41,INDIRECT("c"&J5&":C"&J7),0))
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

OK I have looked at what you have, and have another option for you to try. It used 1 helper column in H, rather than the 2? you currently use, and uses ARRAY formulas. Take a look at the attached, I moved your answers to the side so you can compaer
