    Excel... sider?

Hello, I know how to add a header or footer to excel, but can you add a sider? I want to add a note to the side of my spreadsheet and not sure if that's a thing.

    Thanks!

Not in terms of Header/footer, but you could put your 'sider' in column A, and your real data begin in col. B

    lol.... awesome

I don't think that is a built in thing -but I suppose you could create such a thing by merging some cells and changing the direction of the text. How exactly do you want it to look?

    Re: Excel... sider?

Thanks! I've consider adding a column, but what I really want is something that will print of every page of a multiple page document.

I would want it to look similar to a header/footer and like you said the text would be vertical vs the traditional horizontal.

I don't want to spend too much time worrying about this, was just curious if there was already a tool in place I could use. Again thanks for the help, I think I will have to work around this!

(I'm going to mark this as solved with the answer being there isn't something in place already)
