    Sort Issues

I have a list of dates from June 1,2014 to June 10,2014 and from July 1,2014 to July 10, 2014... When I sort, it arranges all the June 1 dates then the July 1st dates below that and so forth, when what I really need is for it to arrange them like this June 1 then June 2 then June 3 dates... What am I doing wrong? Is this a formatting question?

    Re: Sort Issues

They're not dates, dates are internally numeric.
    They're text values.

Use a Helper column to translate them into a proper numeric date.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

But what format should they be under in the helper column? Or how can I go about doing this?

Try this in helper column or provide sample data book without any confidential data
    =TEXT(H2,"dd/mm/yyyy")
    Punnam

    Re: Sort Issues

One possible solution is to select the list - Dat ribbon - Text to columns and click " Finish". Depending on the formatting it might work.
Else, post a sample of your data
