sheet protection

I have cells within the sheet that all contain the same specific text that i want to protect- they all also contain a similar formula but not exactly the same- there so many that i don't want to go through and protect these cells individually- is there any way of protecting them based on text contained or protect a certain type of formula?

You could try to sort or filter the desired cells to get them all together, then lock them and turn on sheet or workbook protection.
