Analyze which parts of Excel file occupy the most space

    Hi there,

I have to work with Excel sheets with moderate amount of rows, between five and thirty thousand. My problem is that I have an upload restriction of 10 MB which forces me to cut down on my space in the Excel file.
Is there a way to analyze per column how much space it takes or something like that?

    Kind regards,

    Michael

Another solution that I use is to get rid of all the formulas in the spreadsheet. because that is where you are using up data space.

If you have repetitive formula, then record the formulas into a macro.
    Then copy paste your values.

When you you upload or mail the file.

Run the macro to re-insert the data.
