    Data Handling Excel 2013

    Hi Folks

Im a little rusty when it comes to data handling with excel and Im having some issues with a report I have exported from an accounting product (Sage line 50 2012) its a list of customers, when the data exports from line 50 it exports the customers in Rows (heavens knows why!) Its going to be a nightmare to change this from line 50 end, Im wondering is there a way I can import the Data from the report.xls from line 50 into columns in my new excel spreadsheet?

    Thanks
    James

you question is not clear to me.

you get better help if you add an (small) excel file, without confidential information.

please also add the desired (expected) result in your file.
Notice my main language is not English.

I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.

    Re: Data Handling Excel 2013

Unfortunately I can't upload the original file because it contains confidential data, but please see elaborated example below:

So File A - is the file I have exported from Line 50 and its laid out like this:

    Customer Name:
    Bob Dixon

    Address:
    29a Dixons Close
    Benford
    Bretfordshire
    BF28 9BB

    Telephone
    000 000 000

and I want to take the data from File A and lay it out like this :

    Customer Name: Address: Telephone
    Bob Dixon 29a Dixons Close 000 000 000
    Benford
    Bretfordshire
    BF28 9BB

The data is going to be imported to another programme so has to be laid out using Columbus not rows, heavens knows why they laid it out like that makes no sense to me.

Hope this is a little clearer

    Thanks
    James

    Re: Data Handling Excel 2013

Please see the attached screenshots of example's

So Spreadsheet A is what I have right now, Spreadsheet B is how I want the data laid out, I suppose what Im asking is their any way of setting up a Data export so filters it into Spreadsheet B without me having to manually copy and paste which will literally take me days for the thousands of customers there are listed.

    Thanks
    James
