using excel results in MS equation 3.0

Hi everyone,

as an engineer, i write reports containing lots of mathematical equations. recently i have been copying many reports and changing values by hand. this is tedious stuff, so i am experimenting with linking those values to an excel sheet. this works fine, but i would like to also have the equations update automatically.

i am using MS equation editor 3.0. is there a way to link numerical values in the equations to excel cells? or is there another equation editor that can actually do this? if no, does anyone have any ideas how to avoid doing all the manual stuff while still being able to present equations properly (not in bracket notation).

What do the equations look like? There might be a way to use formulas to convert your equasions to valid excel formulas to generate the result for you? Personally I am not familiar with MS Equation Editor 3.0

Hi Speshul,
the most common ones have a combination of fractions, squares, roots and use multiplication dots. You think there is a way to convert excel formulas to "editor" equations?
