Suggestions on how to have the quickest working sheet

Hi Guys,

I'll try keep it short. Basically I've made a tool for my workplace to track certain products including their delivery date, stock levels etc etc. The actual sheet I built is quite large as it has many links into other sheets so it isn't really efficient for the marketing teams to use.

I was wondering whether any of you had any suggestions on how I could perhaps copy my summary tab (where all the data links together) and paste it over to another sheet thus making it smaller, whilst still working i.e the correct product linking to the correct stock, doing this every morning after I update my sheet

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Sam

2 things come to mind...

1. how are you doing the linking? are those formulas as efficient as they can be?
2. if your (data) file is large, consider putting it into its own file, or, if the "previous" calcs are not dynamic (once calc'd, the answers dont change), consider "valueing" previous answers so that the formulas dont have to run
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
