how do I get the window to split mid-screen?
mannually?
I just wasted your time.
Please scratch/ignore my question.
I think i see what's go ing on now.
Thanks again for your help.
if there a way, when I have two windows open so that I can compare different sheets, to save and exit so that when I subsequently
open the work book it opens with both windows displayed instead of just one window.
when just one window opens I have to spend time opening and setting up the second window again.
hope that came out in English.
May be it is possible with VBA but I can't help you with that.
According to this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/254791 If you save a file while multiple windows (in that file) are open, then those windows should also be there when you open the file again.
