    Setting up a schedule

    Hi,

I am having trouble figuring out if there is a way to create a schedule based on specific times.

In this scenario we have 9 interviewers and 34 interviewees.
There has to be 3 interviewers per interviewee.
The interviewers have placed the number 1 to show that they will be interviewing this time and the number 0 to show that they won't be interviewing

How could I create a schedule that will show the interviewer's name where they have placed the number 1?

Hopefully this example will clear this up:

    Name
    DATE1 A B C D E F G H I
    8:00 - 8:50 1 0 0 1 1 0 0 0 0
    9:00 - 9:50 1 0 1 0 1 0 0 0 0
    10:00 - 10:50 0 0 1 0 1 0 1 0 0

    DATE1 Interviewer 1 Interviewer 2 Interviewer 3
    8:00 - 8:50 A D E
    9:00 - 9:50 A C E
    10:00 - 10:50 C E G

Sorry if it sounds and looks a bit confusing. On the attached file, the first sheet shows the time slots and the second sheet is the schedule I am trying to create.

    Re: Setting up a schedule

I added some helpcolumns to make it easier (also easier to understand).

The blue cells are added manualy.

The yellow cels contains a formula.

The green cells are the result.

I achieved the result with an VLookup formula.

    See the attached file.

    Please reply.
