Hey All,
I'm after a formula that will be able to look at all the data in column A and highlight the duplicates e.g. if AAAA229 is listed more than once, each of the values would be highlighted but if it is listed only once, it won't highlight.
Make sense?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Condition Formatting > Format only unique or duplicate > choose duplicate > choose color

Thank you. I tried that but it was highlighting items that weren't duplicates as well as ones that were. Is there any other way that is more accurate?

I'm having the same prob t.regi. Mine lit up like a Christmas tree and I'm not sure why. I have 17,000 values too, in 3 columns if that matters.
