Change plot axis units on logarithmic scale

Is there a way to change the major and minor units when plotting an XY Scatter plot on the logarithmic scale? I am able to change the minimum and maximum bounds but it won't let me change the units. I am plotting on the log base 2 scale, but need the tick marks to be at much smaller intervals (e.g. 0.1, instead of 2).

It is possible to change the major unit but the values available when using log are limited.

You will need to build you own axis scale labels
