Set a name to specific dates

Hi all,

I have a column ("D") of dates where building inspections are required, I need to specify a name in the adjacent column ("E") based on this date, so if the date is between 6/10/14 - 23/10/14 then column ("E") would return "Allen", however outside of this date then cell should be "Mark", does that make sense? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance - Marco

the 41918 and 41935 are dates
