Copy and Paste while retaining spacing

See the attached example... is there a way to copy values from column C to column A, but shifting them down to the respective blank rows? But leaving the data in column A intact?

This is part of a much larger dataset and simply putting them at the end will not work. All the data in C needs to shift down one and over two.

    Thoughts?

Sure. Highlight Column A (the whole column) and then type ctrl+G and click 'Special'. Then select 'Blanks' and hit 'OK', which will select the blank cells in Column A. Click on the formula box so you can enter a formula and then click on Cell C1 (so the formula bar says '=C1'). IMPORTANT: Then hit CTRL+Enter. That should work.
