For starters, I am no where near an expert in Excel.
I am looking for help with a particular problem and it may just be easier to give the example than try and explain.
I have a list of firm names that the company I work for gets paid from in a "key" that shows the company name and the % of the charge our company charges to perform each job.
Firm 1 pays x%
Firm 2 pays y%
and so on...
On another sheet I have the company I work for pays me a fee so on my commission page I have
Firms: Company Fee:
Firm 1 x%
Firm 2 y%
and so on...
I want to be able to automate my Excel sheets so that it will know based on what firm name is in a cell, what % it should use to calculate our fee.
Does anyone know how to do this?
