Problem: Another Dart Team Rotation

Can someone please show me a table or formula for the following:

8 players rotating
4 player teams each night
16 nights
Home/Away does not matter.

I used a previous thread raw data but I am coming up with A,B,C,D and E,F,G,H playing 4 times together. I was hoping that there was another way to rotate so that the same guys aren't playing with the same guys every night. I appreciate any assistance that is out there.

With 8 players, you can have 7 (n-1) consecutive nights of unique pairings. After that it will begin to duplicate. Nobody needs to play the same person more than 2-3 times over 16 nights.

This is not a tournament, we are all on the same team. I am looking to set up the schedule for the league. There are 16 games and we have 8 players, but only 4 players play at a time. I appreciate your reply but that isn't quite what I was looking for. Anyone else?
