Re: Categories Range of Date into MMM-YYYY

    Thanks, it works!!!

I have another concern, if the cell is not in a date format how to prevent the cell showing "#VALUE!" ?
Can i add something into the formula to have it return the text shown in A3 if it is not a date ?

Please refer to my attached excel for the issue.

    Thanks.

Re: Categories Range of Date into MMM-YYYY

oh ****, I think I mistaken my logic wrongly sir.

The date range is suppose to be

    Date Range Group
    01/01/2015 to 01/07/2015 Jul-15
    02/07/2015 to 31/12/2015 Jan-16

    01/01/2014 to 01/07/2014 Jul-14
    02/07/2014 to 31/12/2014 Jan-15

    and NOT

    Date Range Group
    01/01/2015 to 01/07/2015 Jul-15
    02/07/2015 to 31/12/2015 Jan-15

    01/01/2014 to 01/07/2014 Jul-14
    02/07/2014 to 31/12/2014 Jan-14

Are you able to help me with that ?
    Thanks a million.
